Background

With over 30 years working in the human resource management domain, I have developed a coaching mindset when dealing with problems and challenges facing people in various situations. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals and businesses and this has helped me form a clear understanding of their different thinking patterns and attitude to the challenges they are facing in life.

Clients

I work mainly with new managers and senior executives who are seeking better ways to be more resourceful, more resilient, more effective in order to be able to adapt to the changing conditions in the workplace. These clients are usually nominated by their organisations as part of their development journey.

I also work with individuals who are lacking focus and feel they are stuck in life and they ARE looking for ways to improve their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives and to overcome any other challenges they are facing.

Coaching Process

My transformational approach to coaching is a three-phase process:

The first phase is AWARENESS. Since I am a certified Extended DISC Master trainer and assessor I use this powerful behavioural profiling tool in the first phase of the coaching process.
The client does the assessment online. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to finish. A detailed report is generated right away. I then have an in-depth feedback session with the client based on the assessment report findings. I do this because I want the clients to take the first steps of their coaching journey by increasing their self awareness which is the essence of coaching.

TIPCONS helps organisations combat these skills gaps by expand employees’ skillsets, creates a significant competitive advantage in an increasingly technology-driven world.

The second phase is negotiation where I agree with the clients what to prioritise and focus on throughout the coaching journey.

And the third phase is the enablement phase where most of the work is accomplished during this phase which gives the client the greatest opportunity for development and growth. Here I use a number of tried and tested techniques from NLP, emotional intelligence and positive psychology.

Team Coaching

As an executive coach for senior executives, I have developed a team coaching model that focuses on teams at the top because this is where the impact of team performance is greatest. No single senior executive can any longer meet the demands placed on him or her by the organisation, and there is a growing recognition of the need for highly effective leadership teams. Teams have so much more potential than individuals to rise to the growing current and future challenges that face all organisations, and this is being increasingly recognised especially by the Fortune 500 companies.

Team coaching has proved that it helps create consistency in leadership throughout the organisation.

Team coaching creates a lasting impact throughout the organisation as it results in a more positive workplace culture. When individuals experience greater levels of clarity, empathy, and trust from their leaders, efficiency and performance increase.
